The most awaited Cannes 2022 was held on May 17. The Indian representation this year was really great. Deepika Padukone was one of the 9 jury members!! The Indian celebrities definitely killed it!! Here is my view on my favourite celebrity looks.

1) Deepika Padukone:

This year Deepika is a jury member at the Cannes film festival. It was indeed a proud moment for Indian cinema buffs. One of her looks included a beautiful Sabyasachi saree. It was a sequin saree with gold and black stripes. She paired the saree with a one shouldered black blouse. For her makeup she went with nude lipstick and bold black eyes. The eye look was up for a debate. I coudn’t come to a conclusion myself. It looked crazy bold in most photos and smokey eye gone wrong in a few. She accessoriesed her look with heavy dangling earrings, a Headband and lots of rings. Her look reminded me of Shanti Priya’s style from Om Shanti Om (Deepika’s bollywood debut). Looks like Deepika took a walk down memory lane with this look on her very special day.

Deepika graced the red carpet in a red Louis Vuitton. The dress was simple yet elegant. The dress was a deep V neck, peplum waist with minimum trail. She elevated the look with a radiant Cartier diamond necklace. She went for a dewy makeup with red lip and rosy cheeks. Needless to say she looked absolutely exquisite.

2) Malvika Sitlani Aryan

Malvika is one my favourite beauty gurus. This is her first time walking at the Cannes film festival and she rocked it. She wore an extravagant ruffled two piece by Millia London. The top had pink beaded strap ending in a cross back. The ruffled skirt had a sexy thigh high slit which is Mals’ favourite fashion style, with beautiful trail. She accessorised her look with statement gold earrings, gold bracelets and transparent heels. And for her makeup she chose glittery eyes and a pinky nude lip. The beauty queen looked stunning.

3) Masoom Minawala Mehta

Masoom is one of the most iconic fashion influencers. One of her red carpet outfits was a floral dress by Sophie couture. The dress had a structured skirt with a sweetheart neck top. The floral designs were embroidered onto a mesh like material with sequin detailings. Masoom kept her makeup simple with black Smokey eyes and a nude lip. She kept her accessories to a minimum with a pair of stud earrings and matching bangles. She was real world Cinderella in that dress.

Masoom also walked the carpet in a Yousef Akbar gown. It was a simple bright pink gown with a huge trail and a bow detailing on the back. The dress was simple yet exceedingly elegant. She paired her outfit with Swarovski necklace, stud and ring. She chose pink eyes and glossy lips for her makeup and put her hair in a low bun.

4) Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde walked her debutant Cannes red carpet in a pink barbie dress. The dress had an extravagant feathery skirt with a glittery corset top. She paired her dress with a pair of dangling earrings. She put her hair in a sleek low pony tail and went for a neutral makeup with pinky nude lips. Her pink gown, pinky lipstick and the smile she wore made her look like the barbie princess we all dreamed of.
